Oram Acquires Rivard Power Lift To Become the Authorized Linde Lift Truck Dealer

Oram Material Handling Systems, Inc. and Overland Park, Kansas based Rivard Power Lift, Inc. announced the completion of an agreement whereby Oram purchased substantial assets of Rivard. Oram will ensure that former Rivard customers will receive uninterrupted service as their new Authorized Linde Forklift Dealer for Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri.

Oram President Fred Oram said "Rivard has been a Kansas City area family owned business for 75 years and has built a solid base of loyal customers. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for our former Rivard customers. The Linde Lift Truck is recognized worldwide as the premium heavy duty lift and is a perfect complement to the other fine manufacturers that Oram represents."

Mark Rivard, President of Rivard Power Lift, and an icon in the North American material handling industry has been retained in a senior consulting role to facilitate excellent customer satisfaction and coordination with Linde factory personnel. Additionally, many key Rivard parts and service staff have been retained as Oram employees. Oram employs 75 people at their Kansas City, KS, Springfield and St. Joseph MO. locations.
