Powertrain Warranty

For a period of 30 days from the date of delivery Oram warrants the following major components:

Internal Combustion Forklifts

1. Engine
   Cylinder head, block and all internal parts, oil pump, oil cooler, rocker cover and oil pan.
2. Transmission
   Case and all internal parts, clutch cover and housing, torque converter and converter housing and transmission control value.
3. Drive Axle (excluding brake assembly)
   Final drive housing and all internal parts, axle tube assembly and all internal drive components.

Electric Forklifts

1. Motor
   Traction motor (excluding brushes)
2. Traction Motor Controller and Components
   Controller assembly, including print boards, choppers and contractors (except contact tips) and accelerator controller.
3. Drive Axle (excluding brake assembly)
   Final drive housing and all internal parts, axle tube assembly and all internal drive components.

Limited Remedy

1. The remedy under the warranties contained herein is limited solely to the repair of defects in material or workmanship by Oram at its place of business or, at Oram’s option, at the place where such Industrial Truck is maintained, during customary business hours. Oram will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages such as inconvenience or loss of use of the Industrial Truck to the user, resulting from breach of this written warranty or any implied warranty.
2. THE WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND OF ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITIES ON THE PART OF THE MANUFACTURER AND DISTRIBUTORS OF INDUSTRIAL TRUCKS, INCLUDING EXPENSE, LOSS OR DAMAGE WHETHER DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY, ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE INDUSTRIAL TRUCK FOR ANY PURPOSE.
3. This warranty does not apply to damage arising from accident, misuse or neglect, or from alterations not authorized by Oram.

Coverage

During the specified warranty period, any defect in material or workmanship in any warranted item shall be repaired or replaced, at Oram’s option, without charge by Oram.
