Operator Training

A lift truck is only as productive as its operator. The operator is frequently overlooked in their role – the most important element in material handling productivity. Oram has designed a course to train your operators in the recommended methods of operating Powered Industrial Trucks. During the application specific Operator Training Course, each operator will be supplied with an operator manual, a daily per shift walk around checklist, a certificate and a wallet size certificate. This course along with additional materials is designed to assist you in meeting O.S.H.A. requirements pertaining to Operator Training. (class agenda)

The Operator Training Course is site and application specific as outlined in the site survey conducted by an Oram trainer and client's staff. The site survey will include review of the areas that need to be addressed in the training classes including the following:
  1. Each type of equipment by model and modifications.
  2. Areas of storage and staging by style, usage and type.
  3. Required refueling stations such as battery charging or internal combustion.
  4. Battery handling procedures and fueling procedures are evaluated for safety.
