Fred joined the company founded by his father in 1976 after a career as a classical actor and has served as President since 1994. He began in sales and served as the company truck driver for a short period. It was a very short period, he was a terrible truck driver. He is an active member of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) and is in his third year serving on the board of directors. Fred has served on several manufacturer's advisory boards including the Nissan Forklift President's Dealer Advisory Group and Landoll Corporation's Dealer Council. In November 1999 he chaired the first ever Nissan President's Dealer Advisory Group's National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas and was a featured presenter on 'Building the Culture of Long Term Rental in the Dealership'. He is a frequent speaker and writer on industrial distribution topics, with several published articles in industry magazines. When he's not working Fred likes to play tennis, sail boats and fly airplanes with his wife Elizabeth. David Wagner, Vice President/CFO
David Wagner is the Vice President/CFO and has been with the company since 1985. David is a C.P.A., and holds a BS in Accounting and Business with a minor in Mathematics from Southwest Missouri State University. He is especially interested in the information technology aspects of his job, as well as the day to day challenges of helping to manage and grow the company. He is responsible for finance and accounting aspects of administration, and is the primary contact with the company's corporate banking and insurance partners. David has 3 sons and 1 daughter and enjoys boating on Lake Table Rock in the summer and beach bumming in the winter. Contact David: dwagner@oram.net Michael Sadey, Sales and Used Equipment Manager
Michael Sadey joined the Oram team in September 2008 as the Sales Manager and Used Equipment Manager. His responsibilities include overseeing capital equipment sales, storage & handling products, and customer satisfaction. In addition to managing the Sales Department, Michael also oversees the Used Equipment Department and the reconditioning processes required to guarantee that our pre-owned and rental units are available and reliable. Michael began his career in 1986 and has worked in all aspects of the material handling industry. The extensive knowledge he has gained throughout his career in material handling equipment enables him to offer the best solutions possible for an infinite array of applications. His diverse background in service, parts, and sales gives him unique perspective and insight when addressing the needs of customers. Michael's top priority is to ensure that Oram's customers receive the quality products and service they expect and deserve. Mike McMullen, General Parts Manager
Mike McMullen, General Parts Manager, joined the company in 1990. He is responsible for all parts operations at Oram. It is his primary job to ensure an inventory of parts to provide high fill rates from stock as a critical driver of high customer satisfaction. Mike also plays a supporting role in Information Technology as an alternate system administrator for the UNIX based NDS software system. Mike came to Oram with an extensive 16 year experience with industrial truck parts including 2 years of specialization in the industrial tire business. Over the years, several manufacturers have nominated Mike to serve on a number of Parts and Aftermarket Dealer Advisory Boards including Lift Parts Manufacturing's Dealer Advisory Board, Nissan Forklift Corporation, North America's Aftermarket Advisory Committee. Customers and colleagues who work with Mike testify to his positive, can do work ethic combined with a determination to help others. Mike is a car buff and on weekends can often be seen polishing and detailing his two tone classic red and white Ford F150 pick up truck. He and his wife Dorothy reside in suburban Olathe Kansas. Steve Barrett, Kansas Service Manager
Steve Barrett is the Service Manager for Kansas City and the surrounding area. Steve's experience in the lift truck industry comes from years spent in the service and parts fields. He draws on this knowledge when reccomending equipment repairs, maintenance schedules and equipment placement. Steve joined the Oram team in 2006 as a parts specialist. In the spring of 2007 he became the Maintenance Team Leader responsible for administering the Long Term Rental, Planned Maintenance and Contract Maintenance portfolio.
